Our conferences are catered for by our own in-house team at Café Life and with the support of our local trusted suppliers. We pride ourselves in using locally sourced, where possible, fresh produce to create mouth watering hot and cold buffet menus. Prices start from just £6.80 plus VAT per person. With a wide selection of tasty sandwiches, and hot options such as samosas, chips or spring rolls, you're sure to find the perfect menu option for your event.
A relaxing place or meeting place with views over central Coventry we provide hot and cold meals, light snacks, cakes and pastries. An assortment of hot and cold drinks and service with a smile makes Café Life come alive. Throughout the week our brilliant chefs prepare fresh, homemade lunches from authentic Curries, to Southern Fried Chicken Wraps!

Equipment & Technical Services
We have state-of-the-art audio visual equipment installed or available on-site so we can meet all your needs, with technical assistance on hand to help if required. We can also supply flip charts, stationery and pens. Whilst preparation is critical, last minute hitches do occur. At the Welcome Centre we do our level best to take the stress out of these situations for our clients. Our team will often try to assist by making facilities in our office available from laptops to colour photocopying.
If you need help on the creative side, one of our technicians can help plan your event. We can even provide a compère and stage manager to make your presentations professional and an event to be remembered.
Given we have a vast array of in-house audio visual equipment, we believe we can deliver something special, at rates significantly better than many of our competitors and with substantially less stress. Often it’s just a case of turn up, switch on and go… no external hire companies, no early morning rigging, no late sound checks…. Less stress!
Every room has controllable lighting, built in video projection* and sound equipment. We can setup the equipment up for you, provide you with technical advice or even provide a trained technician for the day. With our staffs extensive technical expertise technical issues should prove no problem.
* The Amy room has a portable AV system.
Video and Photography
If you want your event or conference recording for broadcast, for future marketing or publicity, or just for saving for posterity, the Welcome Centre can provide access to a talented pool of local and trusted freelance film makers, editors and photographers.
The Welcome Centre can provide preferred rates with nearby hotels, specifically the Ibis Hotel and the Ramada Hotel & Suites*. Both hotels are within a 1.5 mile radius of our facility.
This option is ideal if you are planning conferences that last several days; keep your delegates close-by, but give them space to explore this exciting city. With a nearby theatre, cinema, parks and outdoor areas, and a variety of restaurants, all walking-distance from either hotel (and our venue), there is plenty for your guests to stay busy with!
